Ilkeston Outlaws Basketball Club Response To Coronavirus

Basketball England have today confirmed that all affiliated basketball activity should cease for the remainder of the 2019/20 season. At the same time the government have confirmed that mass gatherings of people should also be avoided.
With that confirmation all Ilkeston Outlaws Basketball activity will cease until further
notice. That means there will be no training sessions or matches until notified to the
contrary by your squad coach. Whilst we understand members will be disappointed
on missing out on a sport they love, these are unprecedented times which require
robust measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of our members and the wider
community.
It is also only right that we have taken the decision to postpone our Annual Awards
Night which was due to take place on 26th April 2020. This will be rescheduled for a
date in the future, hopefully the autumn. As soon as we have confirmed a date we
will notify you of this via the club coaches.
Finally we have made the decision to ask that you cancel all standing orders payable
to the club until further notice. There is a letter from the treasurer which gives further
information.
If you have any questions further information can be obtained from your club coach.
