The Ilkeston U16 boys had their last Local league match on Friday, December 16th at the NWA against Chilwell.

The opposition are renowned for being less experienced than all the other teams in the League and it turned out to be a very comfortable night, particularly for the new boys who got some valuable extra court time.

From the start the Outlaws where dominant and throughout the first half (the games are 25 minute halves, running clock), they were never troubled and scored at will.

It was much the same during the second half only now we had Taii Francis doing his customary “one man” slam dunk contest throughout, mainly of the “tomahawk” variety after driving down the whole length of the floor!!!!, much to the aplomb of his mates looking on from the bench and sidelines, hey ho!.

The new boys are slowly getting into the mode of things now and, with the group looking quite healthy in number, it can only be good for the next half of the season whatever the results.
